What an absolute gem. On our way from KC to MN, we stopped here for something quick and fun. First, the owner, a very cute elderly man greeted us and sat us down to a small corner of the restaurant. The atmosphere felt like walking into your abuelita’s house. He was so kind and accommodating. The food was great! We tested their horchata and it was so yummy. Very strong taste of cinnamon afterwards though. I did the sirloin steak, although I did ask for medium rare, I got well done instead so it was a lot more chewy, nonetheless the whole plate was yummy. My partner got the green chicken enchiladas and it was absolutely delicious. Perfect amount of spice and you can taste how fresh it is with the green tomatoes! Will come by again!
Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. The owner is very friendly and his wife can definitely throw down in the kitchen. I’m so glad I stopped here. They welcomed me in and I enjoyed my time here. Food is authentic and delicious.
The food was so delicious and the service was great. Nice little family restaurant.
Excellent Mole and chili real! The quacamole is pretty good too! Very reasonable price.
Small town place, killer food, killer service! Best food I’ve had in awhile
Amazing, small Mexican restaurant. The staff was very friendly. The food is spiced (not spicy-hot, just delicious). A welcome respite from fast food fake Mexican.
This little place is great! The food was delicious! It's family owned, and they are very nice people. The food was fair priced. We will definitely stop by again when we are close to town.
This place has the best Mexican food I've had in the United States! Hidden gem, I absolutely recommend it.
